Change lease arrangements

 THE Special Agriculture and Business Leases (SABL) should be replaced with special economic leases (SEL), says an environment conservationist.
The founder of Tavolo Conservation Area, in the Melkoi LLG of Pomio district, Terence Naka said SEL should be specifically for food crop farming, animal husbandry and other non-logging commercial projects.
He said the concept of SABL had been abused companies.
