THE Propest Chariots and Moresby West Jokers will fight it out tonight to secure the third place in the PNG Men’s Basketball League Round 8 challenge.

Last week, Jokers were smashed by Moni Plus Tamaraws 90- 62 which has created a lot of uneasiness in the team.

Chariots will not take the new comers lightly as they downed them in the first round of the competition.

It will be another ball game as they may shock opposition if everything works out their way.

Jokers have the upper hand in three of its experienced players in captain Harold Elavo and his deputies Soi Benny Moses and Joe Elavo.

Their opposition features new potential in Ivono Ivono and Elywn Saseli including the other players who need to control in attack.

Chariots have improved a lot with veteran Morris Asiba tasked to organise the team’s better than last season.

This is the crucial stage with six more games remaining before the best of three playoffs.

Exodus are unbeaten on 14 points, Tamaraws 8, Jokers 6, Chariots 4 and Lamana Saints yet to register a win.

It is again predicted that Exodus and Tamaraws will secure the major playoff and with Jokers threatening the two for that spot.
