Charity seeks support

BUK Bilong Pikinini children’s libraries, a charitable organisation that has been providing free education to underprivileged in Lae, for more than two years, now needs help.

The school, located on the University of Technology campus, will be having a fundraising drive on Friday to raise money to buy uniforms, a brush cutter, water cooler and fencing materials. 

Parents and nearby residents are welcome to support the children who will be bring and buy and a basket exchange.

To start the drive a candidate for the lord mayor seat, Joseph Mand gave 100 T-shirts that the school will print before selling.
