Charles and Camilla to visit next year

PAPUA New Guinea is expecting a royal visit by Britain’s Prince Charles, the Prince of Wales and wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, in June next year.
Government House confirmed the royal visit but could not confirm the date. 
Government House secretary Tipo Vuatha said there were no plans or preparations yet for the visit.
He said a meeting planned for this week to discuss the preparations was deferred because of the political situation in Port Moresby.
Vuatha could not confirm when the meeting would be held.
Government House will work closely with the Department of Foreign Affairs to prepare for the visit.
The tour is part of the Diamond jubilee celebration of Queen Elizabeth II to mark her 60 years on the British throne.
