Chebu face moment of truth against Stingerz

THE giant killers Chebu face yet another big challenge when they line up against competition leaders, Stingerz in the Port Moresby women softball competition tomorrow at Bisini softball Diamond.
Chebu put on a convincing display last week on Saturday to beat Bears 2-0 and they drew with Wantoks 7-7 while Stingerz had a good winning run over the weekend defeating Sisters 3-1 last Saturday and they muscled their way over Bears 8-7 the next day.
Chebu will will have to improve on their pitcher-catcher combination to restrict competition leaders.
The two games tomorrow and Sunday are a very big challenge to the Chebu outfit.
Pitcher Bernadette Cherum and Rosewitha Ire will ensure they restrict Bears quality batters in Alice Kalas, Trudie Simba, Nikie Simba, Leonra Simba, Helen Gebore, Selina Karai and Tessa Karai
Chebu will have to work around with these batters to restrict them from placing deadly safe hits to score runs.
They have nothing to lose.
They want to ensure they give some good competition to the top teams.
