Check lodges, guest houses

THE National’s front page yesterday is an overdue matter for those in authority.
The brothel operators are not operating in Port Moresby alone.
Similar activities are evident in Morobe’s Lae as well. The authorities should address this now.
Some nationals are involved in this as well in Lae’s settlements.
These brothels are not well-maintained as guest houses.
Some are operating in the heart of Lae, which employs struggling mothers in the settlements and young girls and those who are need of money.
Working fathers are targeting these girls.
Some spend all their salaries on these girls.
This is an evidence of moral decay in society.
The authorities should check lodges and guest houses.
It is good that some of these foreigners were captured and would be repatriated, but what they’ve started would definitely affect us.
