Children deserve time and support, says church leader

A CHURCH leader has urged members to invest more in children.
Evangelical Lutheran church assistant bishop Rev Lucas Kedabing said children deserved more time and support, such as in Sunday school.
Kedabing said when children were supported and brought up properly, they would support the church in future.
He attended the Finschhafen Sunday school day last Sunday at Simbang. “Today children (show no respect to) parents and leaders. Most children have overstepped the boundaries. They have no values.” He said children must be taught values they need to display in society.
He challenged the children to listen to their parents and leaders.
