Chimbu court battle

Letters

THE court battle between the former and current governor of Chimbu must now come to its resting place after the recount results are declared before the court.
The court battle is a deadly disease which is eating away the fabric of basic government service deliveries and infrastructure development in the province.
Kool disputes results of Chimbu regional recount is not a sign of providing good leadership to the people of Chimbu.
A good leader should accept the defeat in the name of service delivery to the people who mandated them.
Chimbu is centrally located in the Highlands with the Highlands Highway running through from border to border.
Any traveller can tell whether Chimbu is developing or has developed over the years.
Taking a look at neighbouring provinces – Jiwaka has sealed roads, Western Highland is well ahead in major infrastructure development and Eastern Highland is beginning to progress further in economic development.
Leaders need to stop pretending out in other provinces, be realistic and start to developing your own province.
Let politics go in the name of our Chimbu people and start allowing services delivery to flow.
