THE China-PNG Friendship Association has condemned the attempted murder of its honorary president, Jason Tan, last weekend.
Describing the bid on Mr Tan’s life as “cowardly”, the association said it supported the efforts of the Government and police to investigate the shooting and to ensure law and order.
It also said no triad activities should be tolerated in the country.
Mr Tan was shot in the arm as he entered his home at Paga Hill in Port Moresby on Saturday afternoon.
Two Chinese nationals have been arrested.
