Cholera update is vital

Letters, Normal

I AM definitely against the call by Central administrator to NCD cholera task force leader Dr Timothy Pyakalyia to refrain from reporting cases in Central.
Pyakalyia has done a great job especially when the administrator was nowhere to be seen when the outbreak first broke out in NCD and Central.
Why did Raphael Yipmaramba and his task force team take two weeks to respond?
It is obvious there was no emergency response plan from Central.
Yipmaramba’s claim that a young elementary teacher was a diabetic before contracting cholera as reported in The National was wrong.
I personally know the elementary school teacher and wish to confirm that he was not a diabetic patient before his death.
