MORE than 2000 members of the Gutnius Lutheran Church will attend a youth conference at Irelya village outside Wabag town in Enga.
They came from the province and neighbouring highlands provinces.
Youth coordinator Jeffers Kapik said the conference was to bring together youths and educate them on their spiritual development.
Kapik said the agenda was based on spiritual teachings.
“Some important areas that we will teach in this ministerial outreach includes the evil of corruption, law and order issues,” he said.
He said people need to be nourished and taught the spiritual and physical dimensions of lives so that they could live a good healthy lifestyle.
Kapik said the church also preached about healthy living and how to be good citizens.
He said they dedicated major developments such as the Enga Teachers College, Irelya Institute of Business Studies and Irelya Primary school to God.
He said the row within the church over who should be the head bishop was now going through a mediation process.
It did not stop the church from carrying out its normal activities.
“We are praying and hoping that our good Lord will resolve the in-house problem the church is facing and unite all leaders and make them one body in Christ,” he said.
He added that they all remain the body of Christ.
