Chuave and the future

Letters

I refer to the report that the Chuave District Development Authority (CDDA) is operating
contrary to the Public Finance Management Act 1995.
Every time the Department of Finance and Treasury release a tranche of the district’s DSIP to the district treasury account, this money vaporises into thin air.
Over the past five years this has been the norm at the Chuave DDA and not a single member of the DDA has reported this to the authorities.
The media hype about changes happening in Chuave is only propaganda. There is literally nothing to show for on the ground.
Chuave is in the process of appointing a new district administrator and the speculation is that everyone is watching the exit of the current DA and DT and hoping a god-fearing man is appointed.
