THE PNG Bible church congregation at East Taraka in Lae, Morobe, recieved a new vehicle last week.
Its arrival would ease the burden of looking for vehicle to use for church administration and was a blessing in disguise for mission work.
The congregation gathered last weekend at their church at East Taraka and dedicated the truck to the work of the church.
Fundraising committee members Jackson Mangibil and Gabriel Miriye said it was a long process to secure funds to buy the truck and they appreciated the efforts of all church members who contributed to a worthy cause.
Mangibil said it took them two years to raise money for the new truck to replace another bought 10 years ago.
Lae district’s executive council chairman Pr John Nau said the church had  a huge task next year and the arrival of the vehicle was timely.
