Church gives disciples new spirit

Faith

Seventh-day Adventist pastors, ministers, teachers and health workers in NCD and Central gathered recently at the church’s Mt Diamond Adventist Secondary School in Central for orientation and training.
The orientation, held from Jan 21 to 28, was a first of such a scale focused on practical discipleship. It was held under the theme based on the Bible verse of “Arise and Shine! Go and Make Disciples” (Isaiah 60).
Sessions included office administration.
The workshops covered key practical and implementable actions for discipleships in their respective departments including education, family life and health.
Teachers, ministers and health workers shared ideas and highlighted challenges and opportunities on how discipleship can be better implemented in their work places.
Former chief diplomat and Secretary for Foreign Affairs Bill Dihm made a presentation on protocol, leadership and governance in the church and made recommendations for the conference.
