Church raises funds for tent

THE Assemblies of God Sunday school ministry in Western Highlands is raising K600,000 to buy a tent from the United States.
They started the fundraising at the Kemininga church, Mt Sinai in Mul-Baiyer electorate last Saturday, raising K78,000 from pledges and cash contributions.
Highlands superintendent Pastor Peter Ropra blessed members of the committee and ministry.
He said that where there was unity, God sent down his blessings as he wanted them to achieve something for His Kingdom.
The tent will be used for church gatherings.
“We need to rise and stand up for His Kingdom.
“This is a sign of unity and prosperity the school ministry of Mt Sinai is taking.
“This shows that the Gospel will be in good hands of the future generation.
“This is the kind of goal and hope the church needs to have because God wants us to do something worthy for His kingdom.”
