Church thanks firm for donating chairs

 THE Immanuel Lutheran church in Kuki, Anglimp-South Waghi, Jiwaka, has received new plastic chairs from a local company.

Port Moresby-based House Thing Ltd gave 30 plastic chairs, which cost K3,000, to the church.

The chairs were ordered from Brian Bell Company in Port Moresby and picked up at its branch in Mt Hagen.

Pastor Paul Gruman thanked the company for the donation. He said church members used to sit on the concrete floor during church services.

“I thank the company for assisting the church. At last the good Lord has answered our prayers.

“Your contribution towards the work of the God is worthy than investing in worldly things,” Gruman said.

He said companies which supported the church would receive blessings from God.
