A CHURCH group has appealed to University of Papua New Guinea students to stop causing any more violence and destruction to properties on campus.
Father Victor Roche, the Catholic Bishops Conference of PNG and Solomon Islands general-secretary, said nothing good would be achieved from such violent action.
“Enough is enough. You have made your point clear by the protest. We have all heard and government leaders have heard your point,” he said.
“It is good that things are taken care of by the courts. Now the students have to go back to classes.”
Roche said students who wanted to return to classes should not be stopped by other students.
He said Parliament should recalled to resolve the issue.
