THE World Bank-funded coffee component of the productive partnership in agriculture project (PPAP)
has launched the second call for proposals through advertisements in the two daily papers last week.
This follows the recent release of K8.5 million to six different coffee groups approved for the first call for proposal released in early March this year.
Coffee Industry Corporation chief executive Navi Anis said in the advertisement that the project had been an initiative of the government and supported by World Bank (WB) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
It is being carried out by CIC.
Anis said the partners who wish to apply must obtain proposal guidelines by either writing to
the project manager, PPAP
coffee component at CIC’s
Goroka office on PO Box number 137, Goroka, Eastern Highlands province, telephone 532 1925, fax 532 2080 or email [email protected] and  website www.coffeecorp.org.pg
Anis said information sessions on the call for proposal guidelines would be held today in Jiwaka at Maria Kwin Centre and Highlander Hotel in Western Highlands at 9am and 2pm, respectively.
Completed proposals should be sent to CIC office in each provinces and the DAL office in Banz.
Anis said the proposal guidelines would also provide the format and outline the contents of the proposal.
