City hospital offers discount on CT scans

 THE Pacific International Hospital (PIH) in Port Moresby will give 40% discount to victims of accidents and critical patients referred from the Port Moresby General Hospital for CT scans. 

PIH director and acting chief executive, Dr Amyna Sultan said her management had decided to allow the discount due to the breakdown of the CT scan machine at the Port Moresby hospital. 

“This is part of PIH’s initiative under the public-private partnership to introduce affordable health services,” Sultan said. 

Patients from the Port Moresby hospital and other hospitals had been assisted.
