THE Port Moresby Netball Association will start trials for the 2013 season on Saturday at the Rita Flynn Netball courts.

This was confirmed by president Evanelia Kini, who said that would be followed by the annual general meeting re-scheduled for April 20.

She said the annual general meeting scheduled for Feb 16 had lacked a quorum.

All registered clubs must send two representatives.

She said the association invited new clubs, community schools in NCD and high schools to register for the 2013 annual season.

Kini also acknowledged the committment of major sponsor of the competition BNG Trading for backing the competition since 2010.

“Without BNG Trading’s generous support, we would not be able to run Port Moresby Netball’s annual competition which is the largest netball association in the country and runs senior and junior competitions concurrently,” Kini stated.
