TEAM Papua New Guinea’s largest fundraising activity, the Trukai Fun Run will be staged in two weeks.
The annual event attracts people from all walks of life taking to the streets of major centres in support of our athletics.
In Lae, an auction organised by Trukai Industries in March saw stakeholders and business houses raising more than K100,000.
Among them was locally-owned signage firm Creative Touch Limited, who specialise in signwriting, banners, billboards and stickers. Creative Touch Limited was one of the successful bidders that put their logos on the shirts before distributing them to selected schools or institutions.
On Tuesday, the firm’s representatives Elizabeth Karukuru and Ceslyn Mike visited St Paul’s Primary and AOG schools in wards three and one.  At St Paul’s, six cartons of t-shirts were presented to the school while two cartons were given to the staff of the AOG school at Eriku.
