A PORT Moresby resident was the lucky winner of Courts’ October-November Cold Power contest draw last Friday.
Lama Eo won K5,000 worth of goods.
More than 10,000 Courts customers participated in the contest nationwide.
The grand draw was held at the Courts main showroom in Gordon witnessed by representatives from Courts, Colgate Palmolive (COLPAL), customers and the media.
The contest was open to customers who bought any cold power laundry packs in 200g, 400g or 900g.
The packs contain scratch tickets for K30 and K50 vouchers or discounts from 10% to 25% on goods at Courts.
They were all then given a shot at the grand draw.
“The contest was organised with Courts for the first time and we hope to do another one in future,” Elsie Agonia from Courts’ marketing department said.
She said the contest was staged at a good time when the flow of customers was very heavy for pre-Christmas shopping.
COLPAL assistant brand manager Maryanne Hereva described the contest as a success as they had to extend the validity of tickets to Dec 31.
“That enabled customers to buy the promotional products to enter the grand draw.
“With the escalated cost of living in Papua New Guinea and the cutting down of luxury goods, this will give the winner the opportunity to buy household goods to kick start the new year,” a joint-statement from both companies read.
