A CLAN from Western Highlands will host a crusade next month at Ketika village to break, what they claim, to be a curse.
Spokesperson of the Jika Mukuka clan of Mt Hagen, David Koim, said the event would be from Dec 2- 6.
It is understood that not so long ago, youths from the village asked God for forgiveness as they did not want to be accountable for the bad things their fathers, forefathers or family members did to other people.
The guest speaker of the crusade will be Dian Warap, founder of the Restoration Ministries and Church Networks.
Koim said the event aimed to save future generations.
Jika Mukuka councillor David Anis added that this crusade would renew the contract with God which their forefathers made in the late 1920s.
Anis said since they did not follow what their forefathers did, this has brought upon them so many bad events.
“This is a breakthrough for my people as they are trying to face a new beginning,” Anis said.
