THE Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty Against Animals (RSPCA) in Port Moresby can now maintain the veterinary clinic thanks to K.K. Kingston.

K.K. Kingston marketing officer Michael Miria said the company – which donated a lawn trimmer, two bales of toilet roll, two containers of multi-clean all purpose detergents, a box of toilet disinfectant and rubber gloves – said they were always happy to donate to a charitable organisation.

“We consider them (organisations) on their merits and assist where the approach is genuine.”

Ronel Fourie, a volunteer worker who received the gifts on behalf of RSPCA, expressed their gratitude for the items.

“RSPCA really appreciate the assistance from K.K. Kingston in providing the grass cutter and the chemicals.

“These will help keep the RSPCA facilities (veterinary clinic) clean and to keep our dogs, in the best shape we can.”

She added that RSPCA was the only organisation in PNG involved in providing veterinary care to animals.

Veterinarian Berlini Endaya said the clinic appreciated the donations from K. K. Kingston who have, over the past years, assisted the clinic with disinfectants and other items involved in cleaning the pens.
