Clinton’s planned visit put off

 FORMER US President Bill Clinton did not arrive in Port Moresby on Sunday night for a two-day visit that was to have taken him to Goroka in Eastern Highlands yesterday.

Foreign Affairs Minister Rimbink Pato said on Sunday that Clinton was to have arrived at 11pm and he would be at the airport to meet him, however, that did not eventuate.

An Australian photographer who was to have travelled to Goroka for the Clinton visit said she was informed at 4.30am yesterday that the trip was off.
