Clough JV snares A$75m LNG deal

CLOUGH and its partners have won A$75 million in work orders associated with the upstream infrastructure of the PNG LNG liquefied natural gas project in Papua New Guinea.
The new work orders add to the work that the Clough Curtain joint venture has already received from the ExxonMobil-led project.
Clough Curtain had previously secured A$914 million in work from PNG LNG.
The PNG LNG project draws gas from Oil Search and ExxonMobil’s fields to feed a 6.6 million tonne per annum LNG project that is fully contracted to Asian buyers with first LNG sales are on track for 2014.
