 OUGOING Bank South Pacific CEO, Ian Clyne was presented a departing gift from Cricket PNG his contribution towards the growth of cricket in PNG over the last three years.

Clyne was at the helm of BSP when the award winning programme, BSP School Kriket began its successful tenure in May, 2010 around the nation. 

To date the award winning programme reaches out to more than 120,000 children nationwide.

The BSP School Kriket programme was initially designed to blood future Barramundis and Lewas players and at the same time teach the children the values of team work, respect, leadership, motor skills, dedication, communication and exercise.

The programme has grown from 56,000 participants in 2010 to more than 126,000 in 2012 and will be looking to crack the 150,000 mark this year.
