Coffee borer funding

THE Government has recently allocated a lot of money to address the coffee berry borer in the Highlands.
While the initiative is appreciated the exercise is a failure.
In fact, nothing has been done to stop the spread.
Nothing tangible has been achieved.
Coffee is still being transported to Lae and so forth.
The government has created a loophole for people to suck public funds.
I suggest the government withdraws the remaining funds and rest the coffee berry borer issue.
Use the funds to do some tangible development work in the country.
It is a waste and we can’t continue to pretend.
