The PNG Coffee Industry Corporation Ltd (CICL) will be hosting the national coffee cupping competition this year after a year off the scene.
Acting chief executive Steven Tumae said the national coffee competition would be in September in Port Moresby.
“The competition has run for the last three years and was put off last year due to the incursion of coffee berry borer and the 2017 elections,” Tumae said.
He said the competition has seen an increase of 61 per cent in group participation since the first in 2014.
