Colgate-Palmolive donates K10,000 to medical symposium

COLGATE-Palmolive PNG Ltd yesterday donated K10,000 to assist the 46th Medical Symposium from  Aug 29 to Sept 3 in Wewak, East Sepik.
“We support community health programmes and we are committed to improving the health care delivery for Papua New Guineans,” brand manager Maryanne Hereva said.
“Since its inception in 1965, Colgate-Palmolive (PNG) has been an active collaborator, working in partnership to support and promote better health and education,’’ she said.
“At Colgate-Palmolive, we support community health programmes and we are committed to improving the health care delivery for Papua New Guinea, both in oral health and hand hygiene,” she said.
She said this was evident in the company’s global community programmes such as the bright smiles, bright futures and clean hands good health programmes.
The annual medial symposium is hosted by the Medical Society of PNG, with the aim of improving health care delivery and shaping the future health of the country.
The company also has a major sponsorship deal with the PNG Dental School.
