COLGATE-Palmolive (PNG) Ltd is continuing its funding for dental training in Papua New Guinea.
Last month, the company gave financial support to eight students studying dentistry at the University of PNG.
They were Yvonne Golpak, Christine Abaiah, Wanpos Suluoin, Glennys Riman, Lesha Lapun, Kessie Murua, Leontyne Taumomoa Beaga and Andrew Ikati.
They are in different year levels of study and specialty programmes.
General manager of Colgate-Pamolive Noel Mortel said the company would continue its support.
Colgate-Palmolive had upgraded the training laboratory of
the UPNG Medical Faculty at 3-Mile by providing dental chairs, laboratory dummies and dental coats for the students.
