College dedicates year to God’s love and grace
THE Simbu Teachers’ College in Chimbu held its dedication service on Tuesday to start the year and students were told that without God’s grace and care they could not go far in life.
The service coincided with the swearing in of the new students’ representative council (SRC) and launching of the college website.
Rev Peter Dama, from the Nazarene Teachers’ College in Jiwaka, said that anything done without God had no meaning it.
He said that teachers were the key people who should be equipped with principles so that they would teach and impart the knowledge and skills to others. Principal John Kaupa said miracles did not come without the right focus.
“This dedication service will help this college, the students, lectures and the entire operation because we are asking for his protection, care, guidance and wisdom,” Kaupa said.
