BACK in the mid-80s at Kudjip Nursing College in Jiwaka, a timid first year nursing student from the outback of Jimi’s Gope village was brought in for studies as a local wait-list student.
He would enroll if a first preference student was unable to make it on time for studies.
He was offered a space and went on to prove himself, making several accomplishments in his life’s journey.
He is now a member of parliament and appointed the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Religion in the Marape-Steven Government.
Unexpected things do happen and it has happened to this former nursing student for Kudjip Nursing College – Wake Goi.
Goi paid homage to his former school as a guest speaker for the college’s graduation in Kudjip, last Saturday. Thank you Minister and member for Jimi in making time available for your former school.
We were proud to host you as a VIP and former student.
