Too early
Fellow journo arrived very early at Parliament House yesterday morning to avoid the usual queue into the State Function room on Budget Day. Alas, she had to wait for some hours before others arrived. The security guards kindly kept her company.
Cost hike
It will cost more to have a beer and a smoke now after the announcement of the 2020 national budget yesterday. It may inevitably drive some back to homebrew and the cheap “smoke” brands.

Everyone should expect an uninterrupted power supply from PNG Power through the festive season now that the Government has paid the K12 million it owes.
