Boxer Ben
Former Kavieng MP and now boxing promoter Ben Micah surprised his fighters and everyone else watching yesterday by doing 10 push-ups, with hardly a sweat. Afterwards, he said was ready to enter the ring – with anyone from Parliament. He sort of mentioned a Madang MP. Over to you BK.
Fair mileage
Sponsors look for their mileage to justify the investment they made. They will not come back the next time if they do not see any benefit or return. Or worse, it is completely disastrous if they are negatively portrayed in some way during the sponsored event.
Not Santa
A man dressed up as Father Christmas at one shopping center in the capital city does not look like your traditional round-faced paunchy Santa at all. He (well, he looks male) is too slim for your average Santa and badly needs an urgent makeover especially on the thin beard around his face which looks like it is going to fall off any minute.
Tree test
It is wise to test at the store the wiring to your Christmas tree before you take it home. Colleague found the lights not working when he reached home. Sad, no refund.
Nervous time
It is always a nervous time for students when told that the results of the external examinations are out. They can only hope they had done well to make their parents happy. Grade 10 results are now available online guys.
Still reigninsking
Missy Kwin is very much alive and looked in good health yesterday as she left Windsor Castle for Buckingham Palace. Trolls had been spreading vile rumours yesterday that she had died. The screen shot of friends’ Whatsapp group was posted on Twitter yesterday. Sick.
Thought for the day
Sometimes life does not give you what you want, not because you don’t deserve it, but because you deserve more.
