At last we see the ICAC Bill and Whistle Blowers Act being tabled in Parliament. They have been long in coming but are finally here. We are ranked 136th out of 176 countries on the Transparency International’s 2016 Corruption Perception Index. It’s time for action.
Coughing in public
Coughing in public can be embarrassing these days as it attracts attention that can be to some extent uncomfortable and rude. People stare at you as if asking whether you are carrying that killer virus. And if yes, why didn’t you cover your mouth?
No hugging
BBC presenter Jeremy Vine is taking no chances with coronavirus by pinning this note on the door to the radio studio in London.
Wasted space
That big empty space under the Flyover Bridge at Erima, Port Moresby, can be developed into an attractive entertainment or business area. Wasted real estate indeed.
