Garden of Eden
Miss Six, returning from Sunday school where they were told about the story of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, saw little brother running around naked at home. “Ah, there’s one Adam,” she said, to laughter from the family.
Apec curse
After all the fanfare and hype about hosting Apec in 2018, everything seems to be in “delay” mode. The cars we were told would be selling “like hot cakes” after the event are still sitting here. The Apec Report to be tabled in Parliament last year is yet to be completed – 14 months on.

Travel ban
A little bird told us that authorities in Torres Strait have placed a travel ban on PNG people who sail cross from Western. Australia and PNG authorities do not seem to be aware of the ban.
