Too late

Apec memory
Taxi driver driving past the Jackson airport in Port Moresby heard his passenger querying loudly why signboards put up for Apec 16 months ago are still there. Driver could not think of an answer.
Tough one
This police officer stopped the motorist over some traffic rule violation on the highway. Then he saw the notice on the car window. Imagine if you were in the officer’s shoes right now, how would you handle the situation?
Special treatment
Amid anxieties in Iran over the coronavirus outbreak and precautions to prevent its spread, Ayatollah Abbas Tabrizian has declared a new method to “cure” the virus by applying violet oil to the anus. Really?
Unused ones
The shortage of toilet papers Down Under has of late turned into a crisis of sort. Bar and hotel owners are putting out notices warning their clients “not to remove the unused ones” from the toilets in the buildings.
Positive attitude
On an old man’s T-shirt was written: “I am not 80. I am sweet 16 – with 64 years of experience.”
Thought for today
People will throw stones at you. Don’t throw them back. Collect them and build an empire.
