Covid-19 car
Someone has bought a “personalised number plate” that is most likely to subject him or her to ridicule, odium and malice. People will also be reluctant to travel in that car.
Babies galore
More than 60,000 babies are expected to be born in the Pacific island countries in the 40 weeks since the global pandemic was declared on March 11, according to UNICEF. It is urging Pacific governments to maintain lifesaving services for pregnant women and newborns in the face of the Covid-19.
New normal
A teacher in the National Capital District supports the new normal arrangement for classes to enforce social distancing, because there is now less noise in the classrooms.
Face masks
The relaxing of some State of Emergency rules has made people more lax in observing hygiene rules, for example those who attended an event with Prime Minister James Marape. Very few were wearing face masks including a top health official who later apologised for not bringing his mask.
