New normal
We should know what the “new normal” rules are as we enter the next stage of the national response to the Covid-19 pandemic. They are expected to focus strictly on our health and hygiene. Businesses too demand some breathing space.
At last
Around 50,000 people should be able to withdraw part of their superfund savings as soon as Parliament approves the amendment to the Superannuation (General Provisions) Act this week. There are around 20,000 Nasfund members and 30,000 in Nambawan Super.
Long weekend
Do not be surprised to see the man of the house visiting the liquor section of the supermarket before Friday this week. It’s a long weekend coming up and so many NRL games to watch. Best to be prepared.
Dreading Covid-19
Someone sneezed in the plane and the reaction of the passengers was instantaneous.
NRL anger
The aftermath on the losses to his favourite NRL teams the Melbourne Storms and Brisbane Broncos last weekend is still being felt around the house. It is so hard to appease such as an angry human being. A bad loser? Possibly.
Confusing note
This note on a (neighbouring) country’s tax help line: If you understand English press 1. If you do not understand English, press 2.
Travel plans
Many are hoping that international air travel will resume soon, albeit gradually, to see what’s the best way to ensure passenger safety inside an enclosed aircraft cabin for hours.
Thought for today
Make it a habit to overwhelm someone with your kindness.
