And we have been assuming all along that PNG is a Christian country. Not according to a recent research. So we urgently need to confirm/declare it in the Constitution preamble at least to make it formal.
Dyed hair
Not only in rugby league but in rugby union too. When matches resumed in the NRL and Super Rugby (Aotearoa) competitions after the lockdown, players especially from Pacific island countries were spotting dyed hair of various colours. Now we know what they had been up to during the stay-at-home period.
Kindness or bribery
Taxi driver was surprised when security guards at the gate waved him through on his way to pick up colleague from his home. Colleague explained later that the “seekees” are his friends because he often buys them biscuits. Taxi driver quips: “That’s bribery, not kindness.”
Father’s Day
Some people around the world especially in Donald Trump country were celebrating Father’s Day last Sunday. We celebrate ours around September. We must be living in different worlds.
Missed out
Laura (left) saw a note left behind at home by her husband, saying he was leaving her for her younger sister (right). Laura was going to surprise him at home with the big news that she had just won a big amount of money in the lottery. Oh well. She will have to spend it alone.
