Hard times
From a reader: The supplementary budget to be tabled by Treasurer Ian Ling-Stuckey this week will be interesting, especially the sources of Government revenue to finance it. Hard times indeed.
Taxi queue
There is always a long line of taxis parked at the Jackson airport everyday even though we all know there are less flights now than before. Taxi drivers must know something we don’t.
No control
Out of control and police seem to be ignoring the calls from their boss David Manning to crack down on bus driver continuing to openly flout the Covid-19 public health safety rules. Big disappointment.

Deputy Speaker Koni Iguan gives scribes the thumbs-up during the parliament session last Friday. All is good it seems.
Doctor’s advice
Canada’s chief medical officer Dr Theresa Tam has advised people to wear face masks while having sex. She said solo sex was the least risky sexual option when it comes to protecting yourself from the Covid-19. And she advises that if you have sex, you should avoid face-to-face closeness.
Food for thought
Modern technology makes everything easy and quick but people including family members need to interact more in person. It’s nice to greet others, talk for a while on the street or in church. The feeling is different than merely conversing on the internet.
