Lucky town
Must be a big boost to the local economy to have 50-plus MPs staying in town for at least two weeks. Good on you Vanimo.
Rent sign
Sign outside a motel in the capital city: K280 for one night, K150 for three hours. Why would one rent a room for three hours? Alert the police.
Spill over
Neighbours in Eight-Mile preparing to go to church yesterday morning watched a brawl among a group of men on the street. Must be a spill-over from Saturday’s partying.
Busy neighbours
The same neighbourhood had been subjected to an all-night revelry from Friday night to around 7am Saturday. The women were the loudest at the party, sometimes even drowning out the music with their chatter. It seems that festive season has arrived early.
Too old
Husband bringing out the Christmas decorations from last year was reminded by Miss Four that they are one-year-old and should not be used. Keep abreast with the times dad.
Top offer
Interesting to see how many people fell for this offer outside a Chinese restaurant.
Thought for today
You cannot pour from an empty cup. Take care of yourself first.
Top quote
“It does not make sense to hire smart people and then tell them what to do. We hire smart people so that they can tell us what to do.” – Steve Jobs

  • rent sign
there is k100 per nigh stated on the rent signs. also there is k50 per hour and is not stated on the rent sign. I surprise that what business goes on in k50 room. I usually notice only partners move in and out. can the police can also find those out.
