Yuletide unity
From a correspondent: The numbers in each camp right now are about the same. As a Christmas gift to the people, the 110 MPs should sit down now and form, as Governor Powes Parkop suggests, a government of national unity to take PNG to the 2022 general election. Enough of this senseless destructive anti-productive mud-slinging. We are all PNG blood. And the festive season is here.

Jeff Bezos, the world’s richest man is worth around $US187 billion followed by Elon Musk on $US128 billion and Bill Gates on $US118.8 billion. Total for the three is around $US434 billion. The world’s population is 7.8 billion, with around 1.9 billion (36pc) “in poverty”. Do the maths.
