PM Marape’s affectionate gesture as he welcomed back Bulolo MP Sam Basil in Parliament yesterday summed up the mood on the Government side during the final 2020 sitting of the House. Sigh of relief.

Strange bedfellows
The saying “politics makes strange bedfellows” refers to how political interests bring people together who otherwise have little in common. It is adapted from the Shakespearean play The Tempest.
