Smart move
PM Marape has quickly grown into the position, successfully dealing with the politics and shenanigans which come with it. Take a closer look at the composition of his reshuffled Cabinet. He knows he is “safe” right up to next April.

There were raised eyebrows on some of PMJM’s choices. But he knows it’s counter-productive for one to get too comfortable in one ministry. He has to use the musical chairs once in a while.

The Boroko business centre in Port Moresby looks much cleaner and sunnier these days after they cut down most of the (protected) trees. And buses are scarce.

We can understand the spike in Covid-19 cases in Western because of the proximity to the Indonesian border but no one has bothered to explain why it is happening in West New Britain. A closely-guarded secret it seems.

A lesson we can all learn from the Covid-19 is the value of good time management, thrift, love, patience, perseverance, sacrifice and being considerate of others.

In the middle of a natural disaster, a little laughter may relieve the stress. Someone yelled in the middle of the storm that it was a Cadbury 5 (not category 5) tropical cyclone. Bad time to be thinking of chocolates.
