You look forward to Christmas all year and before you realise it, you are past it. Then you start looking forward again to the next one. Uneventful.
False promises
Colleague has promised to lay off the booze and save some money for his education. It’s the same one he made in January this year. Did not last a month. Cheater.
2021 resolution
A lot of resolutions will be made this weekend for 2021. How many will last to the end of the month is another matter.
Protected trees
You will see this notice stuck on young trees around the capital city. Then when they become bigger, they are no longer protected and are cut down. Weird.
Same old
And the disruptions to power supply in our capital city continued through Christmas and will certainly through to 2021 and beyond.
Trust me
A time will come in your life when some people will regret why they treated you wrong. Trust me it will definitely come.
