Newest word
The newest word to be included in the revised edition of the dictionary is Senelophinia which means “a behavioural disorder characterised by an excessive desire to take home food from parties”. Are you guilty of it at times?
Leading by example
PM Marape surprised many when he walked up a hill into the bush at Saki village last week to see the site of the landslide which killed at least 15 people. And he was still in his office attire. All MPs should be like him.
Anger defined
A saint was asked what anger is. He said: “It is the punishment we give to ourselves, for somebody else’s mistake.”
Short-lived
Colleague’s 2021 resolution did not last a week. He was seen stuck away in a corner of his favorite watering hole on Saturday downing pints. Cheater!
Insane interest
Interests charged by loan sharks should be regulated by some authority. Some are well over 50 per cent. It’s insane and ridiculous, says a regular client.
Back to school
Good to see parents and students already busy in back-to-school shopping last weekend, with the start of the academic year not too far away. Top priority.
Thought for today
Time decides who you meet in your life. Your heart decides who you want in your life. Your behavior decides who stays in your life.
