Reluctant step
Grandma took quite a bit of cajoling/pushing from her laughing young family members to step onto the escalator in a Port Moresby shopping mall on Saturday. She must have instantly regretted accompanying them for their school stationery shopping.
Covid-19 test
On one hand, the people are urged to take Covid-19 tests to know their status. But those exorbitant fees are a huge discouragement – to say the least.
Roger that
So Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has opted to leave the NZ Warriors to test out his prowess in rugby union. His ultimate goal is a spot in the All Blacks squad for the 2023 World Cup. Good luck on that, Tuivasa.
Cyclones visit
Three cyclones are hanging around the Pacific region. Cyclone Ana hit Fiji yesterday causing heavy flooding and much damage to homes and properties. Another cyclone is hovering near PNG. The third, Cyclone Bina, is also heading for Fiji.
Hub of Pacific
Fiji is indeed the “hub of the South Pacific”, according to the cyclones. They visit Fiji more than any other Pacific island country, it seems.
