Today is the Chinese New Year. It is the Year of the Ox. Past years of the ox were 2009, 1997, 1985 1973, 1961, 1949, 1937 etc. It is believed thought that those born in the Year of the Ox are patient, patient, kind, stubborn and conservative.
Busy weekend
Today is the Chinese New Year. Sunday is Valentine’s Day. A lot of celebrations on the card this weekend. Busy.
New law
California will be the first US state to make stealthing illegal. It is, simply put, the act of removing a condom without your partner’s consent. Castration may be too harsh a penalty though.
Fake people
Remember that only fake people gossip about everybody else. Real people mind their own business.
Wasting away
Some of the multi-million kina infrastructure built for the Pacific Games in 2015 and the Apec Leaders’ meeting in 2018 are lying idle and quickly depreciating in the warm Port Moresby weather.
Fake papers
The unthinkable has happened – people using fake certificates to be trained as teachers over at least two years. It is supposed to be the noble profession for heaven’s sake.
Food for thought
Do not pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one.
